Hookworm vs High Roller II review
In this entry we are going to compare and review Maxxis Hookworm vs Maxxis High Roller II tyres. Both manufactured by the same brand Maxxis, these tyres have been designed to be used for different purposes. Whilst Maxxis Hookworm is better for bmx activities, Maxxis High Roller II is a great choice if your needs are more aligned to mountain activities.
|Hookworm||High Roller II|
As the original urban assault tire, the Maxxis Hookworm is no stranger to the mean streets. The bead-to-bead tread design provides durability and traction in harsh environments. The Hookworm is also a great solution for cargo bikes, pedicabs, or any application where a tough tire is needed.
The Maxxis High Roller II uses an open and aggressive tread design intended to find traction in loose conditions. A large channel between the the center knobs and side knobs provides a looser, drifty feel desired by some riders.
