MaxxDaddy vs Shorty review
In this entry we are going to compare and review Maxxis MaxxDaddy vs Maxxis Shorty tyres. Both manufactured by the same brand Maxxis, these tyres have been designed to be used for different purposes. Whilst Maxxis MaxxDaddy is better for bmx activities, Maxxis Shorty is a great choice if your needs are more aligned to mountain activities.
Staggered, tightly spaced center lugs provide controllable speeds. The knob spacing increases near the shoulder lugs to produce two channels that hook up on hardpack berms to loose dirt on the trails.
After gathering years of data and feedback from our World Cup Downhill and Enduro World Series athletes, the Shorty is completely new for 2021. The knob layout has been altered to improve wet traction, cornering performance, and mud shedding abilities. The narrower 2.40″ casing improves frame and fork clearance for when things get really sloppy and reduces weight.
